well put 2gether- how much harder would it be to program the fill ins w/ logic alone- many who have great DAW programs still insist on gettin an MPC – is it because of the speed of track construction?

download the user manual…google it.
or watch a you tube video that helps you navigate the user screens.
once you learn what most things do on each screen you can then start to hack away at sampling beats and cutting ideas together…
that machine is old but so much fun.

Listen man, i jus got a mpc 2000 off ebay. It works perfectly and all but i hav no idea how to use dis shit. If anyone can get me up to basics it wud b greatly appreciated. I dont even know where to start. I tried online for a user manual but it said i needed to find a 64bit version to run on my computer. WtF duz dat mean?

@knowledgeismusic ….k get fl studio..the xxl version…than get an mpk25 or mpd24..if you have the money get an mpc2000xl or 5000…make sure you eather have good studio speakers or dr dre headphones…thats the equipment u should start and cont. with more advanced…always sample…look at youtube tutorials and as you go along makin beats you will learn every beat….it will take you a yea to master fl and know what your doing and then you just get better…it took me 8 months though

i agree with the best samplers but i got to give kanye a lil credit. he turn daft punks music which were all samples from 60/70s era and resample and did cool for a producer. but yeah all the realist definition of hip hop doers are who you have listed but what about dilla hes one of my faves and all tribes beats are all samples and loops. i can talk all day bout beats peace.
