That right its not about the gear its about the producer!!! I’m a Logic user but whatever you can master as a tool to make a song and you love making music it doesn’t matter what you use.

im sorry but i wont be giving up reason and Cubase 5 for this i need piano roll – i need to see notes when i cut copy and past when i work on large projects with little time i need to see every note i need to see pitch and after touch im not big on Fl but if you have external gear fl can be perfect to sequence on a lot more tools but i can see this software growing over the years but not replacing anything right now but the sounds it comes with are crazy

im icycold from this vid and Fl studio is a great program but it sure dosent take years to master it i did that in about 6 months and mastered cubase as well as Live all the programs are easy you just have to be patient and really want to make music

@punched Contrary to what you may think, I’m a real musician. I don’t use ANY computer software to make beats. I have a Roland Fantom X8, Motif rack and a great understanding of music; production and penmenship. Like everyone else, I started with FL studio and I can still run it with my eyes closed.

@ojal90 I never said anything was superior to FL Studio. But we all know, unless you know how to find and use separate VSTs and custom drums, FL will give you nothing good with it’s washed up stock sounds. I could care less what this program comes with, I’m not using it. I was simply complimenting the kid’s production and the way Beat Thang worked for him.

Software has just made people think they can make music. It takes years, good ears and practice. All this software just lays out simple crap for people. Its not music its just plain and simple. How you can Knock FL so easily shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

Dude speaks with very good grammar and knowledge of music. Good to see software that young people can begin on, and actually learn something quick. And make quality at the same time, as opposed to FL.

Just cause they do it on MTV doesent mean you dont look like a clown.
